ROW4RESULTS
The Row4Results initiative joins London Youth Rowing with Tideway, whereby LYR holds a series of indoor rowing events and competitions between boys and girls from years 7 & 8. It runs both in schools, and community youth centres across London.
The programme aims to:
- Ensure that rowing is accessible to everyone, regardless of their background and previous experience
- Connect and reconnect Londoners with the River Thames
On Monday 4th October, Year 7 and 8 students at Springwest took part in a Row4Results event. This is a London wide competition in which each student has to complete a 2 minute time trial to see who can row the furthest distance in the time. Students really enjoyed the session and Springwest are very excited about working with Row4Results in the next layer of competition.
